About:

As part of Thoughtful Thursday, a schoolwide community service initiative, students of Central Boulevard Elementary School in the Bethpage School District created get-well cards for hospitalized children. All cards will be distributed through the Little Saint Nick Foundation.

According to its website, the Little Saint Nick Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help relieve the fear, anxiety and isolation that children can experience during hospital stays and the recovery process through entertainment, education and activities.

Donning “Thoughtful Thursday” T-shirts, students in grades K-5 crafted get-well cards with positive messages and cheerful illustrations to brighten the day of children in need.
